Downtown Fayetteville come alive with the Holiday season the Friday evening after Thanksgiving. Take a break from shopping on "Black Friday" and join us downtown for a candle lit procession, choirs, Scrooge and other Dicken's character's in costume, and some free spiced hot cider!
If you would like to volenteer, contact the Arts Council at 910 323 1776.
Santa will be there with his sled and photographer for the little ones.

I've learned more.
Now that the regular Web site allows readers to add comments to individual stories and editorials, the decision was made to close/abandon the Talkback site.
(The banner was left up by mistake. It's gone now.)
The commenting feature is part of our web site's overhaul, which has been under way since the spring.
